Outside the opening times of the 4-seater chairlift, the Tauplitzalm can be reached daily from Bad Mitterndorf along the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße, which is subject to a fee.

Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße

In your own vehicle
Via the 10 km long Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße toll road, you will be able to reach the Tauplitzalm high plateau at 1600 m above sea level even if our gondola lift isn’t running (in every season, except in extreme weather conditions).
Ski Bus – Bad Mitterndorf
The ski bus drives all guests in Bad Mitterndorf and surrounding areas to the Mitterstein gondola as well as farther up the mountain to the Tauplitzalm. Comfortable, safe and – with a half-day ski pass – free! Rides are recorded by means of a points ticket.
Public buses during summer and winter season
Take advantage of comfortable, safe and
convenient transportation using regularly scheduled public buses from Bad
Mitterndorf up to the Tauplitzalm and back. In winter and summer daily, in the off-seasons on request, timetables can be found here »
