Outside the opening times of the 4-seater chairlift, the Tauplitzalm can be reached daily from Bad Mitterndorf along the Tauplitzalm Alpenstraße, which is subject to a fee.

Die Tauplitz lies in the heart of Austria – in the Ausseerland -Salzkammergut region. Even if it has been snowing, the drive in on the wide, excellently maintained main road is pleasant, while arrival by train is also possible. The closest train station is in Bad Mitterndorf.
