Right next to both of the winter hiking paths and the sled run, numerous huts, inns and restaurants invite you to stop in for a pleasant refreshment break. In many cases, their mouthwatering culinary creations are accompanied by impressive panoramic views. Others offer sunny terraces that are certain to conjure up some healthy color in your face while you eat. And there is even an après-sledding pro as well. 

 
Many of the eateries in Tauplitz & Bad Mitterndorf in the Ausseerland - Salzkammergut region are family-run. Whether ski hut, country inn or restaurant – you will often get to know the owners in person. And sometimes they even cook for you themselves.
