Night sledding – exhilarating enjoyment

An exciting nighttime sledding expedition is one of the most enjoyable experiences you can have in the Ausseerland – Salzkammergut region. Our sled run is located next to the Grafenwiesen lift in the town of Tauplitz. There, you will be able to rent out a sled that is equipped for towing and braking – for maximum safety.
Perfectly maintained piste, exciting rides up to 60 km/h
First, the Grafenwiese tow lift will pull you and your sled up the mountain, then you will be able to zoom back down the groomed sledding hill: You can actually reach speeds as high as 60 km/h – many are quite surprised to learn that sleds can be every bit as fast as a pair of skis. That said, the occasional tumble can happen on the way down. But honestly, that just adds to the adrenaline rush!
650 m long, 95 m drop, safety-certified sleds to borrow
The sled run next to the Grafenwiesen lift is easy to ride and easy to navigate, 650 m long and dropping 95 vertical meters. For your maximum safety, our safety-certified rental sleds are equipped with brakes which are regularly inspected and maintained by our expert employees. Please note: For safety reasons, use of your own personal or borrowed sled is not permitted on this run.

Sledding Prices
€ 4.50 per ride
4 or more rides: € 3.50 per ride
We recommend wearing ski clothing, a ski helmet and ski goggles.
